Jake's bilateral surgery is a success!

The implants have been in only hours and he's already happy. We are scheduled to turn them on June 8.

Welcome the new addition to the family, our Xbox 360, with Project Gotham Racing 3. Everyone but Jake has tried it out. Of course, Jake would just want to try to eat it!

Did you know you can hook your iPod up to it? It has two front USB hookups and once connected, you can tell it to play the songs off your iPod instead of the music the game comes with.

I've also got it networked so it can see content from my Media Center PC in the next room, too.

Now out in the US (so you don't have to pay import prices like I did) is the debut album from Editors called The Back Room. They get compared to Interpol a lot, but I think they are much better. I just wish they could have played in Dallas on the way to or from SBSW!

My new SlingBox from http://www.slingmedia.com/ is quite cool. It lets me or Meridith watch the tv (or more precisely, the DISH connection) from my office from ANYWHERE else. I have watched Olympics and NASCAR qualifying from my work with it so far.

With my Verizon FIOS at home, I've got more than enough bandwidth, so it looks as good at work as it does at home!

I picked it up on sale at Fry's, BTW...
